Established in 1984, CIM is a technology based company that is in the business of OEM Electronics Manufacturing. It specializes in the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing process, and has, since 1992, developed a comprehensive set of capabilities in the design and production of PC Card products (also known as "PCMCIA Cards").

In providing the OEM development and manufacturing services, CIM emphasizes on building up long term and mutually beneficial relationships with their customers - which it views as business partners. We coined the acronym CIM3 in 1991, when it originally stood for "Computer Integrated-Man-Machine Manufacturing", where CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work) techniques are employed to enhance traditional CIM technology. Today, we have further enhanced the concept of CIM3, to denote "Collaboration In huMan-Machine-Methodology".

Starting in 2002, our CIM3 division has been launched.
